Terms & Conditions

Bontalicious Corporate Booking Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all corporate, office, event, catering, custom branded, and business orders placed with Bontalicious.

By confirming an order, accepting a quotation, issuing a purchase order, making payment, or allowing Bontalicious to begin work on an order, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

It is the client’s responsibility to read these Terms & Conditions before confirming an order. Failure to read them does not remove or reduce the client’s responsibility to comply with them.

1. About Bontalicious

Bontalicious provides vegan and gluten-free baked goods, including brownies, cookies, cupcakes, themed treats, logo treats, custom celebration cakes, and office/event catering.

All products are handmade in small batches. Slight variations in appearance, size, finish, colour, texture, and decoration may occur.

2. Quotations and Order Confirmation

All quotations are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise in writing.

An order is only confirmed when Bontalicious has accepted it in writing and the required payment terms have been met.

For first-time corporate clients, payment must be received in full before the event, delivery, collection, or production date.

For approved corporate clients already set up as a supplier, 30-day payment terms may be agreed in writing. These terms are not automatic and only apply once Bontalicious has confirmed them.

Purchase orders, internal supplier portals, finance onboarding, or company payment processes do not override these Terms & Conditions unless Bontalicious agrees in writing.

3. Payment Terms

For first-time corporate clients, full payment is required before the event, delivery, collection, or production date.

For approved corporate clients already set up as a supplier, 30-day payment terms may be agreed in writing. These terms are not automatic and only apply once Bontalicious has confirmed them.

For approved clients on 30-day terms, invoices must be paid within 30 calendar days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment must be made by bank transfer unless another payment method has been agreed.

Payment links are accepted for orders up to £300.

Orders above £300 must be paid by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If a payment link or card payment is requested for an order above £300, any bank, card, or payment processing fee incurred by Bontalicious may be added to the invoice or charged separately. The final fee may vary depending on the payment method and the type of card used by the client.

Bontalicious reserves the right to decline card or payment-link payments for corporate orders and require payment by bank transfer.

Purchase orders, internal supplier portals, finance onboarding, or company payment processes do not override these Terms & Conditions unless Bontalicious agrees in writing.

4. Late Payment and Debt Recovery

Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.

If payment is not received by the due date, Bontalicious may send payment reminders and allow a grace period of 13 calendar days.

If payment is still outstanding after this 13-day grace period, Bontalicious may refer the debt to a debt collection agency, solicitor, or recovery service without further notice.

The client will be responsible for:

  • The full unpaid invoice amount

  • Statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation

  • Fixed statutory debt recovery compensation

  • Any reasonable additional debt recovery costs, including debt collection agency fees, solicitor fees, court fees, administration costs, tracing fees, and enforcement fees

Statutory interest is calculated at the Bank of England base rate plus 8% per year.

Fixed statutory debt recovery compensation is currently:

  • £40 for debts up to £999.99

  • £70 for debts from £1,000 to £9,999.99

  • £100 for debts of £10,000 or more

Bontalicious reserves the right to pause, cancel, or refuse future orders from clients with overdue invoices.

5. Minimum Order Value

Corporate orders may be subject to a minimum order value.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the minimum order value is £150 excluding delivery.

Delivery charges, special packaging, branded toppers, custom labels, urgent fees, and service fees may be charged separately.

6. Changes to Orders

Any changes to an order must be requested in writing.

Changes may include product quantities, flavours, colours, branding, delivery address, delivery time, dietary requirements, packaging, or event details.

Bontalicious will try to accommodate changes where possible, but changes are not guaranteed.

Changes requested after the order has been confirmed may incur additional charges.

Changes requested less than 5 working days before delivery may not be possible.

For logo, branded, themed, or custom decorated orders, all artwork, wording, colours, spellings, and design details must be approved by the client before production. Once approved, Bontalicious is not responsible for errors in artwork, names, spelling, colours, dates, logos, or wording supplied or approved by the client.

7. Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Because Bontalicious products are handmade, perishable, and often prepared specifically for each corporate order, cancellation refunds are limited.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Cancellations made more than 10 working days before delivery may receive a refund minus any costs already incurred.

  • Cancellations made 5–10 working days before delivery may receive a 50% refund or credit at Bontalicious’ discretion.

  • Cancellations made less than 3 working days before delivery are non-refundable.

  • Branded, logo, personalised, bespoke, or large-volume orders may become non-refundable once materials have been ordered or production has started.

Costs already incurred may include ingredients, packaging, edible prints, toppers, labels, courier bookings, staffing, design time, kitchen hire, admin time, and any other committed supplier costs.

If a client postpones an event, Bontalicious will try to move the order to a new date subject to availability. Additional costs may apply.

8. Delivery

Delivery dates, times, and addresses must be agreed in writing.

The client is responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including:

  • Full address

  • Building name

  • Reception details

  • Floor or room number

  • Contact name

  • Contact phone number

  • Loading bay or courier instructions

  • Security, access, or sign-in requirements

  • Any delivery restrictions

Bontalicious is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information, building access issues, unavailable contacts, security delays, traffic, road closures, weather, strikes, courier failure, or other circumstances outside reasonable control.

If delivery cannot be completed because the client or recipient is unavailable, the delivery address is incorrect, access is refused, or instructions are incomplete, the order will still be charged in full.

A second delivery attempt, waiting time, redirection, or courier rebooking may incur additional charges.

Risk passes to the client once the order has been delivered to the agreed address, reception, mailroom, event space, or authorised recipient.

9. Storage and Handling After Delivery

Bontalicious products are perishable and should be stored and consumed as advised.

The client is responsible for safe storage after delivery.

Bontalicious is not responsible for product quality issues caused by incorrect storage, heat exposure, refrigeration where not advised, delay in consumption, mishandling, transport after delivery, or leaving products in unsuitable conditions.

Products are best consumed on the day of delivery unless otherwise stated.

10. Allergens and Dietary Information

Bontalicious specialises in vegan and gluten-free bakes.

Allergen information is provided where possible and should be reviewed by the client before ordering.

The client is responsible for telling Bontalicious about any allergies, intolerances, nut-free requirements, or dietary requirements before confirming the order.

All ingredients used by Bontalicious in our recipes are vegan and gluten-free. However, Bontalicious currently works from a shared kitchen that handles all major allergens.

Our products are therefore not suitable for people with severe allergies or anyone who requires a guaranteed allergen-free environment.

Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including, but not limited to, gluten, eggs, nuts, peanuts, soya, sesame, sulphites, and other ingredients.

The client is responsible for communicating allergen information to guests, employees, event attendees, or recipients.

11. Product Appearance and Photography

Bontalicious products are handmade. Photos shown on the website, social media, brochures, or previous orders are examples only.

Colours, decorations, toppings, piping, edible print shades, and layout may vary slightly.

Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed, especially for edible printing, buttercream, fondant, natural ingredients, lighting, and screen differences.

12. Branded and Logo Orders

For logo or branded orders, the client must supply usable artwork in the requested format and quality.

Bontalicious is not responsible for poor print quality caused by low-resolution files, unclear artwork, incorrect colours, or files supplied by the client.

The client confirms that they have permission to use any logo, trademark, image, wording, or branding supplied to Bontalicious.

The client agrees to indemnify Bontalicious against any claim arising from the use of supplied artwork, logos, trademarks, copyrighted material, or branded content.

13. Client-Supplied Items

If the client supplies toppers, decorations, labels, packaging, or branded materials, these must be delivered to Bontalicious by the agreed deadline.

Bontalicious is not responsible for delays, damage, poor quality, food safety issues, or suitability of client-supplied items.

Bontalicious may refuse to use any supplied item that is unsafe, unsuitable, damaged, late, or incompatible with the order.

14. Event Service and Set-Up

Where Bontalicious provides event set-up, staffed service, pop-up service, or display arrangement, the scope of service must be agreed in writing.

The client must provide suitable access, space, table arrangements, parking/loading information, power supply if required, and any site-specific instructions.

Waiting time, parking charges, congestion charges, ULEZ charges, loading fees, access fees, or additional service time may be charged to the client.

Unless agreed in writing, Bontalicious is not responsible for clearing, serving, cutting, distributing, storing, or managing products after delivery.

15. Complaints and Issues

Any issue with an order must be reported as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after delivery.

The client must provide clear photos and details of the issue.

Bontalicious must be given a fair opportunity to investigate.

Refunds, credits, or replacements are not automatic and will be assessed case by case.

Bontalicious is not responsible for issues reported after products have been consumed, moved, stored incorrectly, left unattended, or handled by third parties.

16. Force Majeure

Bontalicious is not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside reasonable control.

This includes, but is not limited to, illness, accidents, equipment failure, ingredient shortages, supplier failure, courier failure, transport disruption, road closures, severe weather, strikes, fire, flood, power failure, public health restrictions, or any other event beyond reasonable control.

If Bontalicious cannot fulfil an order due to circumstances outside reasonable control, Bontalicious may offer an alternative product, alternative date, credit, or refund at its discretion.

17. Liability

Bontalicious’ total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid by the client for that order.

Bontalicious is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, internal event disruption, reputational loss, or any consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

18. Use of Photos and Marketing

Bontalicious may photograph completed orders for portfolio, website, social media, brochure, or marketing use unless the client requests otherwise in writing before production.

Confidential events, unreleased branding, embargoed campaigns, or private company materials should be clearly flagged in writing before the order is confirmed.

19. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of Bontalicious and may not be used without permission.

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.

21. Updates to These Terms

Bontalicious may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
